Yesterday evening SkyTeam and member airline executives gathered in London to mark an historic – and celebratory – milestone in SkyTeam’s journey as we officially welcomed Virgin Atlantic to the alliance.

Virgin Atlantic is the iconic British airline founded by entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson in 1984. Innovation, outstanding customer service and sustainability are central to the airline’s ethos and are values shared by SkyTeam members across the globe.

SkyTeam offers customers the choice of more than 1,000 destinations in over 170 countries. The addition of Virgin Atlantic elevates our strong offering with more routes to exciting destinations – not to mention the airline’s world-famous flair.
