Virgin Atlantic’s official landing at SkyTeam celebrated at London’s Tobacco Dock
Excitement was in the air as Virgin Atlantic made its mark as the newest member of the SkyTeam familyThere was a celebratory mood in London as Virgin Atlantic hosted an event to mark its official arrival in the SkyTeam family.
And as an airline which has become synonymous with innovation, adventure, creating memorable experiences and doing things differently, Virgin Atlantic didn’t disappoint guests at the capital city’s historic Tobacco Dock.
Applause erupted when the Alliance Agreement was symbolically signed on aircraft tailfins to represent the official moment of membership.
Virgin Atlantic CEO Shai Weiss and SkyTeam CEO and Managing Director Patrick Roux spoke about their excitement that Virgin Atlantic has joined the alliance, bringing new benefits to customers and members alike.
Guests included SkyTeam, alliance member airline and Virgin Atlantic executives and colleagues from across the globe.
