25 years of Caring more about you – the history of SkyTeam

Back in 2000, travel and business moved at a different pace, and the way we connected with each other was beginning to change.

SkyTeam had just been established by Aeromexico, Air France, Delta Air Lines and Korean Air, four airlines across different continents, with a promise to setting a new standard of travel – providing more choice, better service and improved benefits.

Earning miles became easier, and loyalty benefits extended across the alliance.

Fast forward to today, and the world of travel and business has never been more connected.

SkyTeam has grown to 18 member airlines, serving more than 945 destinations worldwide and the ability to earn and redeem miles globally with access to benefits wherever you fly.
