SkyTeam Cargo Alliance Welcomes Saudia Cargo as its Newest Member
SkyTeam Cargo, the world’s only cargo alliance, last month welcomed Saudi Airlines Cargo Company as its 12th member.This development has enabled us to significantly expand our footprint across the Middle East, while Saudia Cargo and its customers are now benefiting from our extensive global cargo network covering 900 destinations in more than 175 countries.
Nico van der Linden, vice president of SkyTeam Cargo, said: “The members of SkyTeam Cargo are pleased to welcome Saudia Cargo as the newest member of our growing alliance. Our current members, and in turn their customers, will benefit from an expanded network across the Middle East.”
Saudia Cargo has a large global network spanning four continents, 225 international destinations, and 26 domestic destinations. It has now joined forces with SkyTeam Cargo’s 11 other members.
Saudia Cargo’s CEO, Omar Hariri, added: “This membership is truly added value. It will develop Saudia Cargo’s capabilities, its product offering, and expand its network.”
