Flight Plan for 2025 directs us towards SkyTeam’s 2027 vision

Guiding us in 2025 are SkyTeam’s three core pillar areas; People, Foundation, and Growth.
Date 7 April 2025

With SkyTeam’s 2027 vision driving our longer-term goals and ambitions, our 2025 Flight Plan focuses more on the short term and what we can aim to achieve this year.

In the December InTouch, we detailed our four key priorities for 2025; Seamless Check-in 2.0, Bag to Basics, Next Level Accrual, and Intermodal Journeys. Alongside our two key differentiators of SkyTeam Cargo and Sustainability, these four priorities will bring us closer to our vision of a more integrated, responsible and customer-centric travel experience.

Our Flight Plan takes a wider look beyond these priorities at the range of initiatives being focused on at SkyTeam this year. These initiatives can be broken into three core pillars, with each pillar having several key objectives:

People – We make it happen together

  • Grow internal airline expertise and nurture passion for aviation
  • Value Diversity & Inclusion
  • Enhance Leadership
  • Improve employee satisfaction

Foundation – Strong roots, steady journey

  • Get the basics right
  • Improve accountability and control
  • Run a tight governance
  • Augment the value proposition

Growth – Evolving solutions, pioneering ideas

  • Pursue digital transformation at scale
  • Innovate across all business domains
  • Strengthen our competitive position

With our 2027 strategy a product of cocreation with our members, this Flight Plan will keep us on track in 2025 as we continue to work towards these goals and ambitions.
