Customers flying with Aeromexico and Delta can now obtain boarding passes for their entire journey across both airlines for a seamless check-in experience.
The partners are our first member airlines to go live with the new check-in function, made possible through SkyTeam’s Digital Spine.
Previously, customers with flights ticketed by one airline but operated by the other would have to go to both airlines’ websites or see an agent at the airport to check in.
When fully rolled out, customers will be able to check in from a single app or website for all SkyTeam member flights in their itinerary, eliminating a long-standing pain point.
In addition to greater convenience, the one-stop digital check-in also helps mitigate health risks during the current pandemic by reducing the need for interaction at the airport.
