SkyTeam Cargo Welcomes John Engelaan as Vice President Cargo

John Engelaan brings a wealth of experience – including driving sustainability objectives – to SkyTeam Cargo

SkyTeam Cargo – the world’s only global air cargo alliance – has welcomed John Engelaan on board as its new Vice President.

The Dutch national brings more than 35 years’ international experience to his new role, including his previous role as Vice President of Global Fleet at Swissport where he was responsible for the management of 60,000 ground support equipment (GSE) assets across 275 airports in 45 countries.

He also played a key role in developing long-term sustainability objectives such as reducing CO2 emissions and increasing the electrification of GSE.

Before joining Swissport, Engelaan worked in various senior roles at Air France-KLM and Martinair Cargo.
