SkyTeam CEO Kristin Colvile was interviewed by The Wall Street Journal recently about the alliance’s work to create a seamless customer experience through investing in state-of-the-art innovative technology.

Kristin spoke to journalist Scott McCartney about SkyTeam’s plan to close the gaps in the alliance’s inter-airline customer experience, by tackling our five identified high-priority seams – which include seats, bag tracking, check-in, loyalty, and service recovery.

She also revealed details about SkyTeam’s Digital Spine, which bridges the technology differences between alliance members to offer customers greater simplicity and convenience.

“We built a giant translator, giving us the capability to talk to one another no matter what technical language they are speaking,” Kristin said.
