SkyTeam’s Rebooking Rollout is Gathering Pace

Members are continuing to roll out SkyTeam Rebooking at our hubs and airports around the world.
Date 29 May 2019

The industry-leading service recovery product is available to all member airlines, and is currently in use at 70 airports.

This month, Delta will lead a meeting to coordinate regional implementation for Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), and San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

Representatives from member airlines will be participating in the meeting to implement the product at each of these airports.

As a result, customers at these important hubs will soon benefit from Rebooking during irregular operations (IROPS).

Delta is currently utilizing SkyTeam Rebooking using TERM (TPF or green screen) environment. Next month, it will add the new functionality to the AXIS reservation application, enabling its call centers that handle IROPS to provide the service.

For the past two years, SkyTeam has been leading implementation activities at hubs and other key airports.

This year, our members will become joint owners of the process. The airline that has the most seats at an airport will take the lead role, with SkyTeam providing back-end and on-site support as required.
