Air France and KLM customers now have real-time flight information at their fingertips

SkyTeam’s member airlines offer more than 30 million codeshare or multi-carrier flights every year – that’s a lot of flights!

Until now, airlines had limited ability to receive operational flight information from codeshare partners.

Air France and KLM customers are now benefitting from being able to see up-to-date flight information for all codeshare flights operated by all SkyTeam member airlines, thanks to FLIFO functionality powered by the Digital Spine.

SkyTeam shares this information via a live data feed, enabling Air France and KLM to share real-time flight information with their customers.

This allows customers to easily find their flight status, departure gates and other information for flights operated by other SkyTeam members.

In addition to increasing customer satisfaction and reducing the number of missed flights, the project benefits members by reducing their operational and service recovery costs.

The functionality went live at Air France and KLM on 17 January. It will soon be launched by China Eastern, before being rolled out by additional member airlines throughout 2023.
