New 737 business model launched to capture greater opportunities for SkyTeam Corporate Agreements
SkyTeam Corporate Agreements (SCA) has updated the qualifications for an SCA into the neatly-termed ‘737’ model.SkyTeam Corporate Agreements seeks to unlock new opportunities
An updated business model has been introduced for SkyTeam Corporate Agreements (SCA), to help focus and capitalize on opportunities in non-home and non-hub markets.
The changes are designed to drive incremental revenue and increase SkyTeam’s share of the corporate agreement market.
To support the move, the SCA team has updated the qualifications for an SCA into a ‘737’ model, which includes:
- A new revenue threshold of US$7 million (pre-pandemic)
- Three or more geographic areas
- Seven or more SkyTeam member airlines and strategic partners
Potential new additions to the SCA portfolio should also have centralized travel management and a strong travel policy.
The new ‘737’ model will help ensure SCA is adding accounts that unlock the greatest opportunities.
For 2023, the Sales Advisory Group (SAG) has agreed that each member airline will nominate one new company for an SCA, with SkyTeam supporting the drive through an alliance-wide awareness campaign.
Let us know if there is an opportunity to meet with your sales team to share the new ‘737’ model and show how we can help you get more with an SCA. Contact Robert.mcqueston@skyteam.com for more information.
