Navigating Airports like a Pro Thanks to SkyTeam Digital Maps
Airports should provide a chance to take a breather, with shops to explore, foods to try and souvenirs to buy. For the time-pressed traveler who can’t find what they’re looking for, however, they can be a stressful and taxing environment.SkyTeam’s new Digital Maps puts convenience back into the airport experience, enabling customers to find everything they need at the touch of a button.
Each map’s interactive layout gives customers a clear view of where they need to go, and how long it will take to get there.
The result? There’s no longer a need to rush or rely on airport signs – ideal for when signage isn’t in a customer’s own language or they need to make a connecting flight!
“Too often the airport experience can be stressful because customers are rushing through an unfamiliar environment, taking away the enjoyment of traveling,” said Kristin Colvile, SkyTeam’s new CEO. “Reaching for our phone to find the way is now second-nature and our interactive airport maps will help ensure a more seamless and relaxed trip through the terminal for our customers, wherever and whenever they fly.”
The new maps can be found on the free SkyTeam app, which is available for iOS and Android.
They are already up and running for Schiphol Amsterdam, Istanbul, London Heathrow, Sydney, Taipei, Geneva and Rome, and will be rolled out in stages across our remaining hubs and airports with SkyTeam-branded lounges.
