Across the alliance, we’re passionate about doing more to protect the world we connect. Our member airlines are already working side-by-side to share knowledge and best practices to reduce air travel’s impact on the environment.
SkyTeam’s new four-year Sustainability Strategy maps out how, together, we will continue to innovate and collaborate to make the future of air travel more sustainable, aligning our corporate goals with those of our members, our customers and the latest industry targets
Executive sponsor Perry Cantarutti and expert advisor Amelia DeLuca, both from Delta Air Lines, are helping to shape the strategy and drive it forward.
Perry said: “We have an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of air travel. From exploring innovations in technology through to being more mindful about waste and the resources we use, everyone across the alliance and our member airlines has the ability to play their part in creating a more sustainable future.
“SkyTeam’s new Sustainability Strategy outlines how, together, we will make that future a reality.”
In addition to flagship projects like The Sustainable Flight Challenge and the RISE female leadership program, SkyTeam is planning to launch and deliver a host of exciting, impactful and valuable initiatives over the next four years that bring the new strategy to life.
The new strategy will be presented for endorsement to the Sustainability Advisory Group and the SkyTeam Executive Board at the end of March 2024.
