Celebrating 19 Years of Proud Moments for SkyTeam’s Anniversary

This month marks 19 years since SkyTeam was founded. Since our formation, the alliance has delivered numerous innovations and ideas that have supported members to deliver proud moments to millions of colleagues and customers.

To help celebrate our achievements, we’ve created an infographic and animation that pull together 19 reasons we’re proud to be part of our alliance.


 

Here’s a few of the things that fill us with pride:

Using new technology to deliver a more seamless customer experience.
Last year’s launch of the Digital Spine marked a turning point in the alliance. It now connects Aeromexico and Delta for seats. Our focus is on creating a seamless experience for service recovery, seats, check-in, bag tracking and loyalty.

Helping get our customers back on their way when things don’t go to plan.  
The last 12 months have seen SkyTeam Rebooking successfully start its rollout. The technology is now available across all 19 members and will be available at 100+ airports by the end of 2019.

The way our members’ 500,000+ staff look after more than 630 million customers every year

SkyTeam’s signature: “caring more about you”.
Everything we do and every department at SkyTeam strives towards creating a better experience for customers.

In the run up to our 19th anniversary celebrations, we also asked people across the alliance what makes them proud to be part of SkyTeam.

All these materials form part of a suite we’ve created to help colleagues in every member airline celebrate SkyTeam’s anniversary. Other resources include a photo booth frame, banner and email template, and each has been created around this year’s anniversary theme: 19 years of proud moments.
