Elite Customer Recognition Goes Live for WestJet Customers

Airline’s Most Valued Customers Are Now Instantly Recognised as They Travel Across Our Network.

WestJet Silver, Gold and Platinum customers are entitled to perks including SkyPriority services and additional baggage allowance, while Platinum members will be able to enjoy lounge access for eligible trips.

ECR is a database of more than seven million top-level frequent flyers who belong to 16 different member airlines’ programs, plus those of partner airlines WestJet, China Southern, LATAM and Virgin Atlantic.

Driven by a daily-exchange and synchronization of top-tier data, ECR enables members airlines and hosted PSS to keep their databases updated with customers’ correct tier levels.

SkyTeam receives and stores data and redistributes it to our members’ and partners’ passenger service systems (PSS), so that airlines’ most valued customers can be instantly recognised as they travel across our network.

This means the all-important ‘SP’ indicator automatically appears on Elite Flyers’ boarding passes, giving them easy access to SkyPriority services at the airport and seamless entry into member airline & SkyTeam branded lounges.
