Strengthening the bonds between SkyTeam and our member airlines’ HR departments

To build our strategic platform for 2027, SkyTeam is working in closer collaboration and cocreation with our member airlines than ever before.

An important part of this involves working together to make the best use of each other’s knowledge, services and experiences. And this is a key focus of the People Team, which is stepping up its efforts to develop talent at SkyTeam.

Head of Human Resources & Office Management Lindsey Cooks said: “Injecting member airline DNA into the SkyTeam office through employee secondment and exchanges adds an invaluable airline perspective to projects, enriching them and helping the alliance add value for our members.

“And, of course, when a seconded colleague returns home, they take a deeper understanding of the alliance with them to put to work for their airline – along with an exceptional international experience and a larger network of member airline and SkyTeam connections.”

The project is just one of many designed to promote an alliance-wide learning culture of development, discovery, collaboration, exchange and retention.
