The SkyTeam Digital Foundation Team, under the leadership of Christian Oberlé, is focused on creating the right digital solutions to deliver advanced customer experiences with the following transformation priorities:
Cocreation between members and SkyTeam is key when it comes to technology solutions that accelerate and deliver high-quality, scalable and efficient digital tools at the pace needed to remain ahead in our industry. In the first instance, you can expect to see teams exploiting Digital Spine capabilities to finalize Seamless Check-in, allow Seamless Seat assignments at check-in, track bags and deliver up-to-date flight information details for every step of the customer’s journey.
Retailing provides an important stream of income for airlines. And supporting our members is a way of life at SkyTeam. So, we’ll be working together to pave the way for new digital forms of payment including, for example, the use of FFP miles or points as a means of paying for tickets or ancillaries.
Creating the right platforms for delivering advanced customer experiences, member content distribution, and enabling the full use of data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are key transformation projects on the horizon with the Digital Foundation Team.
