SkyTeam’s Dubai lounge is once again offering customers a luxurious – and safe – oasis of calm
The SkyTeam’s branded Dubai lounge is to reopen, almost 18 months after it was closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.First, Business Class and Elite Plus customers flying from Dubai are now enjoying a luxurious escape from the gate as well as enhanced safety and cleanliness protocols to keep them safer than ever before.
Managed on behalf of SkyTeam by dnata, the Dubai lounge is the third in our global network to reopen after Vancouver and Istanbul.
“With travel demand increasing, we are excited to reopen our Dubai lounge and offer a quality airport experience to premium customers as they return to the skies,” said Christian Oberlé, SkyTeam’s Vice President Customer Experience.
“SkyTeam’s lounge might have been closed, but we didn’t take our focus off caring for our customers, working with dnata to offer extensive staff training and interactive development programs to ensure a warmer welcome than ever is waiting for them when they arrive.”
Highlights of our Dubai lounge include:
- Safety first – self scanning of boarding passes, face coverings required and hand sanitizer stations, with lounge staff required to wear masks and gloves
- Oasis of calm – zonal ambient lighting, separate TV room, dining and business areas provide customers with a space that suits their needs
- Global cuisine – a wide selection of hot and cold menu options representing the diversity of SkyTeam’s network, plus local and regional delicacies
- More space – partitions and rearranged furniture offer more room for working and relaxing
- Shower facilities – sanitized after each use, allowing customers to freshen up on their travels
We are delighted to confirm that SkyTeam’s new lounge at Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport in Santiago de Chile will open soon – our first branded lounge in Latin America.
