The new route operates once a week. It is the 12th intercontinental route for Xiamen Airlines, and the first intercontinental route launched by the airline since the COVID-19 pandemic occurred.
Xiamen Airlines already cooperates with six international airlines – including Air France and Czech Airlines – to develop transit intermodal products on South America and Africa routes.
Since the launch of Xiamen-Amsterdam intercontinental flights in 2015, Xiamen Airlines has launched 11 intercontinental routes to major cities in Europe, the US and Australia from China.
This year, with the gradual recovery of China’s civil aviation market, Xiamen Airlines is actively optimizing its route network and increasing investment in popular international routes.
Looking ahead to the future, the airline is planning to launch a new route from Xiamen to Doha, Qatar, as well as increasing the frequency of flights to Singapore, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, and Vancouver.
