Great customer service and safety continue to be served up in SkyTeam’s Branded Lounges
Safety and service go hand-in-hand with luxury thanks to measures put in place in SkyTeam’s Branded LoungesOur Branded Lounges might look a little different as a result of the pandemic, but our robust approach means travelers are still enjoying the same high-quality experience as before.
SkyTeam’s reopened lounges in Vancouver and Istanbul now have a number of measures in place to reassure guests, including temperature checks on entry, clear protective screens, safely-distanced furniture, floor markers and extensive cleaning policies.
Table, chairs and high-touch areas are cleaned after every use while cooked-to-order meals, pre-packaged food options and a bartender on hand to serve drinks are reducing shared contact with utensils and equipment.
Mauro Oretti, SkyTeam’s VP Marketing and Commercial, says: “As our customers return to the skies, they can be reassured that while the lounges may look a little different, the same high-quality experience awaits them.
“We’re pleased that we continue to offer the same relaxing ambience our customers expect, but with added peace of mind thanks to the many health and hygiene measures we have put in place.”
SkyTeam’s Istanbul lounge featured prominently in an article about airport lounges in the COVID-era that appeared in Barron’s magazine, a leading U.S. business publication. The story highlighted how customers continue to enjoy the same, luxurious lounge experience while SkyTeam’s many health and hygiene measures keep them safer.
These measures will be extended to our other lounges when they open – including Santiago, which will take SkyTeam’s branded lounges to a fifth continent.
And we’re honoured to receive the YVR Green Excellence Award for our Vancouver Lounge. This award recognizes our environmental contributions on Sea Island, which is home to Vancouver International Airport, including our work to reduce emissions, waste and potable water consumption.
