The roll-out of Seamless Check-in gathers pace
Air France and KLM become the latest members to connect to the SpinePassengers flying with Air France and KLM are enjoying a faster, touchless airport experience thanks to seamless technology powered by SkyTeam’s Digital Spine.
The two member airlines are now connected to the Spine for Seamless Check-in, joining Aeromexico and Delta who connected last year.
Our focus over the summer will be on connecting our China-based partners and other Sabre and direct connect members.
Thanks to SkyTeam’s improved IT strategy, which accelerates delivery while reducing the burden on each member, our joint ‘Amadeus as Consumer’ development project will see eight additional carriers go live by the beginning of 2023: CI, GA, KQ, ME, OK, RO, SV and UX.
Seamless Check-in allows customers to use their chosen SkyTeam member airline app or website to check in and receive all boarding passes for flights marketed or ground handled by other SkyTeam airlines – and in future by participating third parties.
