SkyTeam appoints industry veteran as new CEO and Managing Director

With more than 30 years’ industry experience, Patrick Roux is set to help SkyTeam further build the alliance of the future.

Patrick Roux has been appointed SkyTeam’s new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director as of 1 October.

Patrick joins SkyTeam from Air France. Most recently based in Paris, he served for 15 years as Senior Vice President Alliances. With the move to the Netherlands, Patrick brings 30 years of industry experience to SkyTeam, including overseeing Air France-KLM strategic partnership activities, with commercial offerings in different markets through more than 80 Joint Ventures and codeshare agreements.

Patrick is a champion of seamlessness and sustainability and is looking forward to engaging with all SkyTeam member airlines and employees to book progress in these areas for customers, the industry, and our planet.

Walter Cho, SkyTeam Chairman, said he was delighted to welcome Patrick onboard.

Patrick replaces Kristin Colvile, who after four successful years as CEO and Managing Director of SkyTeam, has returned to Delta Air Lines.
