Content is being updated and design is being adjusted to enhance the SkyTeam website.
COVID-19 has meant that our efforts were directed to helping member airlines navigate the impact of the global pandemic, leaving skyteam.com a little neglected.
Now, the website is in sharp focus with lots of hard work going on behind the scenes.
For the past few months, we’ve been working on updating content, adjusting the design, and adding more ‘human’ images.
The theme and focus for the coming months are ‘cleaning up,’ with work ongoing to update outdated content and remove old pages.
Efforts are also being channeled into enhancing the technical elements of the platform, to improve searchability and visibility within search engines.
Known as SEO (Search Engine Optimization), this improves the quality and quantity of website traffic for search engines and our users.
The Content Management System (CMS) software that sits behind our website and manages the digital content will also be updated by the end of this year. This will help improve page speed and give us the opportunity to better visualize our story online.
